He was predeceased by: his aunt Esther Justice (Floyd Nichols) of Wyaconda; his brother Kenneth Sherrill; his parents-in-law, Alfred and Darlene Humes; his nephew Adam Seaver; his niece Mindy Humes; and his aunts and uncles, Edna (Joe Cooper), Mary (George Beek), Mildred (Bob Symmonds), Joanne Ferguson, Stanley Haage and Gary Justice.
He is survived by: his parents, Raymond Sherrill and Letha Haage Sherrill of Kahoka; his wife Linda Humes; his sons, David Sherrill of Kahoka and Anthony Sherrill of Wyaconda; his sister Virginia Seaver of Kahoka; his siblings-in-law, Mark Humes (Candy) of Wyaconda, William "Bill" Humes (Lois) of Wyaconda, Melissa Sherrill of Kahoka and Sheila Humes; his grandchildren, Maverick and Micheal Sherrill of Kahoka, MO; his stepgrandchildren, Havon and Adalyn Lay of Kahoka; and his aunts, Goldie Laymon (Bud) of Revere and Marjorie Haage of Hamilton.
