With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Wilson Wondel of Wright City, Missouri, born in Painton, Missouri, who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Wondel and Elizabeth Wondel; and his siblings, Emory, Donald Wondel and Betty McKee.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Ann Wilson; his sons, Mike Wondel (Pat) and Steve Wondel (Connie); and his siblings, Evelyn Italiano and Ronald Wondel (Norma). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
