She was predeceased by: her father Donald Lee Peterson; her husband Michael Carter; and her brother Carl Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Crystal Carter and Michael Blankenship; her mother Cecelia Peterson; her siblings, Donald "Donnie" Peterson, Pam Hollrah (Eric) and Ron "Ronnie" Peterson; and also Tyrone Whitfield.
