He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Benoist and Joyce Benoist; his grandparents, Leroy, Ileen Johnson, Lenora and Russell Benoist; and his niece Miranda.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Jo Tilley; his sons, Christopher Duane and Chris Benoist (Mallory); his grandchildren, Macy and Calvin; his siblings, Wanda Byington, Paula Jackson (Wayne), Paul Benoist (Cathy), Donnie Benoist (Rhonda) and Donna Benoist; and also, Duane and Melissa Benoist. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
