He was predeceased by: his father Juan Mendez; his stepfather Charles Dwight Adams; and his grandfather Willie Wilson Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Adams; his wife Crystal Ball-Mendez; his children, Chardonnay Hunter and Davion Mendez; his brothers, Corey Mendez (Carmita) and Lance Mendez (Jasmine); his stepbrothers, Charles Adams Jr., Chris Adams and Brandon Adams; and his grandmother Alvenia Moore. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends.
