It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Toerper of Wright City, Missouri, born in Bismarck, Missouri, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Toerper; her parents, John Simms and Mary Belle Simms; and her brothers, John E. Simms (Rosalie) and James L. Simms (Charlotte).
She is survived by: her children, Steven Toerper (JoAnn), Dianne Y. Toerper, Daniel Toerper (Missy Burgert) and Lauren Schneider (Donald); her grandchildren, Melissa Kieffer (Cody), Robert Toerper (Nicole), Katherine Schollmeyer (Sean), Andy Toerper, Taylor Piper (Joey), Ashley Sanchez (Mike), April Lee (Elijah), Daniel Schneider (Dana), Charlie Schneider and Matthew Schneider; and her sister Mary Lou Hahn (James Douglas).
