She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Groeper and Martha Groeper; the father of her children Norman H. W. Logan; her husband Emmet Brakensiek; her son James Logan; her siblings, Calvin, Gilbert Groeper and Shirley Bunge; and her great grandchild Thomas L. Neldon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Logan, Alice Zoellner of Wright City, MO, Jane Blanton (Tony) of Wright City, MO, Terri Baker of Warrenton, MO and Gerri Smith (Darrell) of Wright City, MO; and her grandchildren, Angela Case (Jason), Brian Balkenbusch, Cheryl Rudy, Beth Neldon (Adam), Michelle Feise (Stephen), Antoinette Soles (Josh), Sean Blanton, Justin Baker, Rikki Ann Baker, Matthew Vance and Megan Vance. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pitman Funeral Home (904 State Hwy 47, Warrenton, MO 63383). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
