She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Owens and Kathryn Owens; and her grandchild Micah Smith. She is survived by: her husband Mark; her sons, Scott Hoifeldt (Beth) and Shaun Smith (Candice); her stepdaughter Katy Nafzger; her grandchildren, Noah, Alexander, Nickolas and Natalie; her brothers, Danny and Donnie Owens; and her cousin Richard Kelly.
