With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Charlton in Wright City, Missouri, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Charlton and Clover Charlton; and his sister Janene Charlton. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Jane Outland; his wife Mary Jane; his children, David Charlton of Wright City and Donna Forsyth (Brian) of Mascoutah, IL; his granddaughter Brianne Wittnebel (Austin) of Oklahoma City, OK; his stepgrandchildren, Alyssa Forsyth and Clayton Forsyth of New Baden, IL.; his siblings, Dale Charlton (Patti) of Puryear, TN, Shirley Alsobrook (Jay) of Benton, KY and Susan Barrett (Donald) of Calvert City, KY; and his sisters-in-law, Becky Hampton of Murray, KY and Sue Outland of Murray, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association or an animal shelter of your choice.
