He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Bachelor and Alma Bachelor of Worthington; his wife Patricia Bachelor (Bartley); his sister Norma Kayati (Bachelor); and his great grandchild McKenna Bachelor.

He is survived by : his children, Barry Bachelor (Michelle), Greg Bachelor (Sheila) and Jodi Simpson (Mark); his brother Robert Bachelor of Front Royal; his grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan, Chris, Trevor, Ashleigh, Tracy, Danielle, Nicole, Cody and Tanner; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Riley, Collin, Parker, Jameson, Mason, Phillip, Miranda, Nina, Kohler, Gavin, Maria, Blayze, Lhyric, Isaac, Jacob, Easton and Lorilei.
