He was predeceased by: his parents, Odessa Glaspie (Mckee) and Ray Glaspie; and his siblings, Vernon Gillespie, Bobby Glaspie and Wanda Alfred.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Gillispie, Lance of Worthington, MO, Brian Gillispie of Kirksville, MO and Alvin Shepard of Novinger, MO; and his brothers, Mike Gillespie (Mack) of Davenport, IA and Gilbert Glaspie of Jefferson City, MO. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
