He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Sue Vemer and Donald Lee Vemer. He is survived by: his friends, Ron, Chris and Carl; his wife Jan Vemer (Coleman); his daughters, Jennifer Atwell (Charles) and Gina Vemer; his sister Elizabeth "Susie" Thoma; his grandchildren, Shelbie Lea Holt (Shawn) and Lance Gerald Vemer-Wills; and his great grandchildren, Colleen and Mia Holt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
