Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Walter Eugene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; and his sisters, Barbara Radley, Catherine Landrum and Mary Ann Broyles. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
