He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Peggy Lohnes (Nee Crabtree); his sons, Arthur Lohnes (Jennifer), Andrew Lohnes (Karen), Joshua Lohnes (Sally) and Matthew Lohnes; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Julia, Samantha, Alexis and Jamie; and his nieces, Diana Crabtree and Melissa Rein.
