It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John David Allen Jr. of Wood Heights, Missouri, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John David Allen Sr. and Helen Marie Allen of Richmond, MO.; his wife Bonnie J. Allen; his children, Bob Post, Stephen Post, Jeff Allen (Michelle), Julie Allen and Jodi Jensen; his stepchildren, Jeff McCoy (Robin), Tracy Riley (Jeff) and Gary McCoy; and his grandchildren, Joseph Allen, Aden Allen, Jamie Wright, Maddie Wilson, Lyndsey Ruiz, Kendra Adams, Gary Lee McCoy, Daniel Riley and Olivia McCoy. He was also cherished by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The American Diabetes Association or KC Pet Project in his name.
