She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Barker Young and Ruby Young; her husband John David Allen; her children, Jeff McCoy (Robin), Tracy Riley (Jeff) and Gary McCoy; her stepchildren, Bob Post, Stephen Post, Jeff Allen (Michelle), Julie Allen and Jodi Jensen; and her grandchildren, Maddie Wilson, Lyndsey Ruiz, Kendra Adams, Gary Lee McCoy, Daniel Riley and Olivia McCoy. She was also cherished by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society or KC Pet Project in her name.
