She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Thomas and Phyllis Thomas (Holden); her husband Doyle Simpson; her siblings, Hermina Martin, Lorene Stinson and Odell Thomas; and her mother-in-law Mary Elizabeth Simpson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Etta Yarber (Norman) of Mountain View, MO, Gerald Thomas and Don Thomas (Sharon) of Birch Tree, MO; and her daughters, Kathryn Raye Hilton (Tom) of Winona, MO, Brenda Kay Acord (Tim) of Winona, MO, Phyllis Ann Atkins (Tony) of Harrisburg, MO, Rayma and Djordje Nisavic (DJ) of Belgrade, Serbia.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital and left at the funeral home.
