He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Lois Mae Spencer and Ted Ray Spencer; and his grandparents, Hayden, Martha Williams (Wart), James and Mary Barr Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Spencer of Winona, MO; his daughter Misty Dixon (Daisaku) of Van Buren, MO; his grandchildren, Trinity and Asher Norris of Van Buren; and his siblings, Jim Spencer (Joyce Swearingin), Jack Spencer (Debbie) of Mountain View, MO, Wilma Sheets (Jim) of Willow Springs, MO, Wanda Smotherman (Dale) of Birch Tree, MO, Wilda Miley of Mountain View, MO and Willa Jo Kramer of Mountain View, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Yarber Mortuary-Winona (17315 3rd St, Winona, MO 65588). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Evaline Cemetery.
As Dwight was deeply devoted to family and his grandchildren's education, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be directed to a fund supporting their grandchildren's education at Southern Bank under Misty Dixon.
