It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Lee Nickelson (Winfield, Missouri), born in Cadet, Missouri, who passed away on July 13, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everet Nickelson and Gladys Nickelson; and his siblings, Elmer Nickelson, Bobby Nickelson, Bonnie Stone and Dee Werle.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Nickelson of Winfield; his children, Tommy Nickelson (Stacey) of Houma, LA, Jason Calvin of Joplin, MO, Andrew Calvin (Jana) of New Athens, IL, Christine LaFleur of Kansas City, KS, Lisa Ward (Lester) of Joplin, Tina Nickelson of Baton Rouge, LA and Lacie Dreisewerd of Alton, IL; and his siblings, Jamie Nickelson (Debbie) of Festus, MO, Phillip Nickelson (Eva) of Festus, Carl Nickelson of Warrenton, MO and Kathy Brant of Warrenton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
