He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Powers Vernon and Nathan Vernon; and his brother Danny Douglas Vernon. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Vernon of Winfield; his daughters, Christine Vernon of Clarksville, MO and Jennifer Blackwell (Christopher) of Eolia, MO; and his sisters, Peggy Ann Ross of Springdale, AR and Mary Beth Martin of Jacksonville, AR. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
