He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen M. Atwood and Mildred Bednar Atwood; his half-siblings, Michael Lucas and Christi Seldomridge; his sister-in-law Patty Atwood; and his pet Ginger.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Atwood of Winfield; his pet Max; his brothers, Terry Atwood of Westville, IL, John Atwood (Teri) of Danville and William "Rocky" Atwood (Joyce) of Fairmount, IL; and his brother-in-law Bill Seldomridge of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home (107 S 5th St, Elsberry, MO 63343). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the Carter - Ricks Funeral Home (3838 East Highway 47, Winfield, MO 63389).
