He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Shipp and Dorothy Shipp (Johnston). He is survived by: his wife Diana Shipp of Winfield, MO; his children, Kevin (Michelle Shipp) of Lee's Summit, MO and Valerie Komperda of Parker; and his grandchildren, Parker Shipp, Dylan Komperda, Dalton Komperda and Landon Komperda. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers: Bread for Life (Food Pantry) or Troy Dream Center (Faith-Based Men's Residential Program) c/o the funeral home.
