He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Maxam and Susan Maxam (Rhinehart). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Maxam of Winfield; his children, Julie Maxam-Kearns, Shawn of Ohio, Daniel Maxam (Debbie) of Virginia, Max Maxam of Texas and Melinda Bearman of Missouri; and his brother Richard Maxam (Kathryn) of Lincoln County. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
