He was predeceased by: his father Knute Lorenz; his brother Max; and his grandparents, Loren, Lora Reiter, Marty and Irene Lorenz.

He is survived by: his mother Beverly Lorenz (Reiter); his daughter Marissa; his pet Max; his close friend Max; and his siblings, Amy, Guy (Trudi), Erin Zuck (Van), Lora Lorenz-Ryan (Brady) and Matthew (Andrea). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials will be directed to the family.
