He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melburne Roy Soles and Anna Belle Soles (Robinson); his wife Hattie Naomi Brown; his children, Vernon Soles, Russell Soles (Robbie), Johnny Soles and Karen Wright (Jamie); and his siblings, Melburne Soles, Eugene Soles (Della), Naomi Carter, Wayne M. Soles, Bailey Soles, Charles Soles, Mardellya Anders and Nellie Belle Owens. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
