He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Neal Howery; and his stepfather Thomas Edward Oxley. He is survived by: his wife Tanya Lynn Howery; his children, Natasha Rashell Howery, Amy Lynn Howery, Kayle June Simpson and Shaun Anthony Howery II; his grandsons, Jett Hendrix Howery and Oliver Anthony Lee Simpson; his sons-in-law, Jake Patrick Kirwan and Alexander Russell Simpson; his stepfather Gary Cox; and his siblings, Tammy Eunice Marcille, Kennith Clinton Howery, Sandra Danice Gamez and Thomas Edward Oxley Jr..

A memorial has been established in Shaun's memory for the family and contributions may be left in care of the funeral home (checks may be made payable to Tanya Howery).
