She was predeceased by: her parents, John Raymond Shepherd and Ola Belle Shepherd (Tedder); her husband Grover Daniel Failer (Oklin); her former spouse Oklin William Buell; her son-in-law Tim Ward; her grandson Jason Patterson; her great grandchild Isabelle Failer; and her brothers, Leslie Shepherd and Ray Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Ward, Carolyn Gillenwater (Rick) and Jim Failer (Carolin); her stepdaughter Connie Holland; and her sister-in-law Jean Rickets. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
