He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edwin Shulfer and Marie Dorothy Shulfer (Zimmerman); and his sister Dolores Merriott (Dody). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Shulfer; his children, Valerie Shulfer of Belton, MO, Laurie Osness (Jim), Cynthia De La Fuente (Joe), Victoria Olson (Jim Metallo) and Allen Shulfer (Joyce); his grandchildren, Katie Orndahl, Christine Orndahl, Cara Orndahl, Brady Olson, Conner Olson, Megan Shulfer, Mitch Shulfer, Sofia Shulfer and Simon Shulfer; his stepgrandchildren, Meghan Fuentes, Marissa Holm and Morgan Osness; his siblings, Sandra Wollert, John Shulfer of Woodstock, IL and Tom Shulfer of Woodstock, IL; and his uncle Stanley Shulfer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making contributions to Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research, St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), or Crossroads Hospice in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
