With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Kays of Windsor, Missouri, born in Climax Springs, Missouri, who passed away on March 4, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ray Whitworth and Flossie May Whitworth (Ellis); her husband Charles Wendell "Windy" Kays; her nephew David Powell; her siblings, Raymond Whitworth, Billy Dale Whitworth, Barbara Sue Powell, Veda Galloway and Joyce Austin; her nephews, Rick Kays and Jackie Cross; and her niece Lisa Warren (Austin).
She is survived by: her sisters, Rosalie Waller, Marietta Rager (Chuck), Linda Whitworth and Donna Moore (Billy). She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
The family suggests contributions to the David Powell Memorial Scholarship (WHS MSEF) or the Laurel Oak Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
