He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Raymond Powers and Ellen Marie Powers (Gehlken); his wife Helen Christian; his children, Edward Lee Powers and Jeanice Bolte; his grandson Jordon Powers; his siblings, Robert Henry "Bob" Powers and Katheryn Bell; and his former wife Anna Dell Beaman Naylor.
He is survived by: his children, Dora Powers, Tommy Powers, Kim Staples (Danny), Mike Powers (Ginnie), Steve Powers (Leanna), Marla Anderson (Robert), Jerry White (Jill), Johnnie White (Carrie) and Jeff White (Laura); his son-in-law Bearnie Bolte; and his former wife Pat Paxton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
