She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Alpers and Bertha Alpers; her former husbands, Wayne Smith and Vernon Reynolds; her son David Smith; her siblings, Becky Cothern and Donnie Alpers; and her granddaughter Delaynee Daniels.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Nations (Joe) of Windsor; and her siblings, Barbara Johnson (Richard) of Higginsville and Harry Alpers (Lila) of Concordia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
