He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Allyn Swigert and Mary Eliza McIntire; his wife Thelma Lucile Paxton; his sisters, Jean Wallace (Bill) and Ruth Smith (Cy); and his siblings-in-law, Toni Paxton, Kay Womble and Bob Houk.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Swigert (Okla), Marilyn Norfleet (David) and Scott Swigert (Kristen); his grandchildren, Jonathan Norfleet (Erin), Whitney Bowers (Zack), Kacey Verderaime (Mike), Allyson Weitzel (Josh), Kimberly Baxter (Rusty), Makayla Swigert and Barr Swigert; his great grandchildren, Olsyn, Nash, Rian, Evyn, Harper, Salvatore, Enzo and Giovanni; and his siblings-in-law, Venita Houk, Larry Paxton of Windsor and Gary Womble of Windsor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
