He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl H. Gold and Helen E. Gold (Iuchs); his stepfather Ernest F. Strickler; his brother Earl Eugene Gold; and his friend Larry Womble.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Dritt; his great-nephew Shiloh; his great-niece Autumn Wren; and his close friends, John and Jane Kopp (family: Keely Kuehner).
