He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion A. I. Sorden and Dovie Sorden (Edwards); his wife Nona; his son Terry Gene; and his siblings, Mary, Ruby, Elmer, Wilson, Art, William and Jessie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Winona Hunter (Terry) and Nancy Anders (Lynny); his daughter-in-law Sharon Sorden; his sister Ruth Hargis; and his grandchildren, Mae, Julie, Kevin, Nikki of Melody, TJ, Zach, Willie, Marie-Etta and Clint. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family recommends masks or social distancing during the service.
