He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Earl Maples and Margaret Ellen Maples (McMilian); his brothers, Bill Maples and Terry Maples; and his nephews, Steven Christopher Maples and Johnny Earl Maples.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Maples; his siblings, Larry Maples (Lawton), Steve Maples (Diane), Russell Maples (Crystal) and Carolyn Brayfield; and his aunt Emma Johnson (Bill). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
