He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wayne M. Soles, Bailey H. Soles and Mardellya M. Anders (Leslie); and his siblings-in-law, William Owens, Dolly Soles, Naomi Soles and Grace Soles.
He is survived by: his siblings, Melburne D. Soles, William V. Soles, Eugene Soles (Della), Nellie Belle Owens and Naomi M. Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
