“my prayers and sympathies go out to Carol's family...I met Carol many years ago (1972) when I went to work for the 442nd Reserves...I worked with Carol and an honestly say what a friendly and caring co-worker she was...our little work "gang" with Carol's smile and helpfulness made the couple of years that I worked for the 442nd a memorable time....God Bless her.......respecfully Terry Watters”

Larry Lee wrote a sympathy message

“My deepest sympathy to the family. I had the privilege of working with “CJ” for about 8 1/2 years at Richards-Gebaur AFB. She was everyone’s’ big sister; loved and respected by all. She was always full of life and didn’t hesitate to put someone on course correction when it was warranted. After being commissioned in 1984 and moving on, the memories and lessons I took with me served me well throughout the rest of my career. CJ played a major role in that. She is missed. (Col (Ret) Larry Lee)”
