He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cecil and Deloris Lillie May Collins (Boone); his wife Elva Louise Beasley; his stepfather Russell Davis; his daughter Donna (David Glassburn); his siblings, Opal (Don Brixey), Dorothy (Ocie Bunch), Herschell, Wilma (Herman Hicks) and Donald (Juanita Collins); his siblings-in-law, Gene Beasley, Berchell and Gloria Beasley; his nephews, Leroy Brixey and Danny Collins; and his great-nephews, Jason Bunch and Brian Collins.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeannie Collins; and his brother Larry Collins.
