It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Eggert of Willow Springs, Missouri, born in Casper, Wyoming, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" John and Ella Lavonne Eggert (Mooney); his brothers, John Eggert and Bob Eggert; and his grandson Theodore Gene "Teddy" McColgin.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Eggert; his children, Christina McColgin (Dallas) of Willow Springs, Allen Eggert (Skye) of Willow Springs, Robert Eggert (Shelbi) of Willow Springs and Makenzie Boyle (Donny) of Willow Springs; his siblings, Ron Eggert of Valentine and Pam Springer (Eddie) of Caddo; his grandchildren, Noah, Chandler, Lane, Tanner McColgin, Brandon, Collen, Brynna, Alexa, Joseph, Hailey, Starlynn, Ryan, Oskar, Olivia Eggert of Heidi, DJ and Elouise Boyle; his aunts, Paulette Waggle of Mountain Grove and Carol Kennedy of Callaway; and also Asher Barnes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mountain Grove (315 N Main St, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Hillcrest Cemetery North Main.
