He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sparks and Stella Sparks (Goodwin); and his brother Jesse Burroughs. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Rose Spataro; his children, Connie Jo and Jim Jr.; and his sister Mary Ann Aldrich (Daryl). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
