He was predeceased by: his parent Adena Louise Looney (Meridith); and his wife Marilyn Wells. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Looney (Tara) of Lodi, MO and Lori Hill (Justin) of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Riley Looney, Matti Looney, Kenli Looney, Lane Looney, Makenzie Hill, Makayla Hill and Austin Hill.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.
