He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Epley; his wife Emma Epley (Coleman); and his siblings, Edward, Eugene, Marvin, Lloyd Epley, Mildred Spink, Lorene Weber, Ilene Sharp and Nadine Faulkner.

He is survived by: his sons, Larry Epley (Roxanne) and Michael Epley (Crystal); his grandchildren, Joshua Epley (Lori) and Rebekah Fenske; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Elijah, Landon Epley and Gabriel Fenske. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
