She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Irvin and Laura Irvin (Juergens). She is survived by: her husband Forrest E. Durnell; her sons, Bruce Durnell (April Durnell) and Gordon Durnell (Donnie Durnell); and her grandson Brandon Durnell (Sarah).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
