It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Chapin of Willard, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Chapin and Carol Chapin; his father-in-law Paul Edelstein; and his brothers, Vernon "Chris" Gregory and Glenn Gregory.

He is survived by: his wife Tara Chapin (Edelstein); his son Jimmie Rockwell Chapin; his sisters, Theresa "Teri" Baker (Tony) of Kansas City, Missouri and Angel Rose of Mosby, Missouri; his mother-in-law Bonnie Edelstein of Edwards, Missouri; his siblings-in-law, Joshua Edelstein (DeAnn) of Strafford, Missouri and Peggy Edelstein of Springfield, Missouri; and his nieces and nephews, Cassie Rupard (Derick), Axel Rose (Alyssa), Stormy Dowdell (Caleb), Jourdyn Edelstein, Gauge Thompson, Abbi Thompson and Malayna Edelstein. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a trust for Jimmie at (bank name to come) under JIMMIE ROCKWELL CHAPIN.
