She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Bain and Martha Alice Bain (Simson); her husband Glen Carlyle; her daughter Ella Sue Cowan; and her great great grandchild Malaki.

She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Miller (Jerry) of Willard, MO; and her grandchildren, Steve Cowan of Neosho, MO, Brenda Glenn of Walnut Grove, MO, Sherry Delucca of Bolivar, MO, Kenneth Cowan of San Francisco, CA, David Cowan of Monroe, MO, Chris Miller of Bois D'Arc, MO and Mark Miller of Willard, MO. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
