He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard F. Riley and Dolly L. Riley (Hicks); his sons, Donald II and Darrin; his son-in-law Ronald Nelson; and his siblings, Gladys Thatcher (Raymond), Ima Jean Deering (Harmon), Beverly Hunley (John) and Elic Riley.

He is survived by : his wife Connie L. Riley; his daughter Cindy L. Nelson; his grandchildren, Jacob Riley (Mackenzie), Christopher Riley (BreAnne), Hayden Riley, R'Donya Nelson and Torrey Nelson; his great grandchildren, Zoe, Finnley Riley, Cooper and Carson Riley; his siblings, David N. Riley, Brenda Daniels (Randy Brooks), Scott Riley, Angie (Steve Jacobs), Gary Riley (Carla) and Steve Riley (Carol); and his sister-in-law Karen Riley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (20432 US-59, Tarkio, MO 64491).
