She was predeceased by: her parents, William Manning and Dollie Manning (George); her daughter Sharon McKehan; and her former husband Royal Gilbert Thurman. She is survived by: her children, Randy Thurman (Jeanie), Dean Thurman, Michael Thurman (Cindy), Cindy Cook, Sandy Richardson (Mike) and Sheila Baumgartner. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
