William Coomer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Coomer of Whitewater, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact William had on those he encountered along his journey. Though William may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Coomer and Alma Coomer (Wondel). He is survived by: his spouse Dickie Blevins; and his sons, Shawn Coomer (Callie), Rodney Coomer, Mark Williams (Pam), Kent Williams and Bucky Gooch. He is also survived by five brothers, three sisters, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, also, by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel - Scott City (115 W Hickory St, Scott City, MO 63780). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2315 US-61, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701).
