He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville J. Rodgers and Letis M. Morlan Rodgers; his brother Doug Rodgers; and his brother-in-law Herbie Gilder. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rodgers of Whitewater; his sons, Steve Rodgers (Clarissa) of Whitewater and Darren Rodgers (Cindy) of Whitewater; his grandchildren, Cole Rodgers (Chelsea), Cade Rodgers, Conner Rodgers, Jennifer Moore and Jameson Moore (Melanie Lacey); his great grandchildren, Hadlee Blake, Iziah Cruz and Cheyenne Rodgers; his sisters, Carolyn Brotherton (Steve) of Jackson and Patricia Applebee (Steve) of Tennessee; his sister-in-law Ruth Rodgers (late Doug) of California; and his parents-in-law, Opal Gast of Whitewater, Barbara Allen (Mark) of Leopold, Dannie Gilder (LaDonna) of Whitewater, Bonnie Horman of Jackson, Lori Lalumondierre of Cape Girardeau and Lisa Arnold (Chuck) of Jefferson City, Missouri. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
