He was predeceased by: his parents, Argyle Haynes and Geneva Haynes (Smith); his siblings, Claude, Bill, Darril, Gary Haynes, Joyce and Carolyn; and his grandson Billy Jack England.
He is survived by: his children, Jim (Becky Haynes) and Kaye (Rodney Hughes); his siblings, Wesley Haynes (Carolyn), Freida Kite, Wylene Clouse and Veva Lee (Bill); his sisters-in-law, Joan, Edna, Esther and Melissa; his grandchildren, Joshua (Misty Hughes), Kelby (Haley Haynes), Emily England of Cassville and Lacey (Austin Johnson); and his great grandchildren, Hunter Cook, Travis, Trey, Easton Hughes, Lawton England, Liam, Kiptyn, Senyah, Sylas Johnson, Kaden and Hallee Haynes.
Contributions may be made to Rocky Comfort Cemetery or Prosperity Baptist Church Playground/Family Area Fund in memory of Melvin.
